Palo Verde is a graduate and family community with 652 unfurnished apartments in three- and four-story buildings. Each apartment comes with a stove, refrigerator, window and floor coverings. All apartments have ethernet connection and cable TV connections.  If you are interested in living in Palo Verde, please check the eligibility requirements first.

Information about rental rates, floor plans, and facilities can be found by choosing one of the links to the left. Utilities (electricity and telephone) are not included in the rent. Current residents can find useful information about policies and procedures. The Important Announcements will notify you of upcoming resident meetings and community events.

Housing Eligibility

Current contract holders must maintain full-time enrollment to remain eligible to live in Palo Verde. The Palo Verde Housing Office conducts eligibility checks on a regular basis. Issues of eligibility involving course enrollment must then be resolved prior to the third week of the quarter. Residents not resolving eligibility issues by this deadline will receive a three-day eviction notice. Please contact the Housing office if you will be enrolled less than full-time (except for Summer quarter).

	New Transfer Policy: Residents wishing to move between the Palo Verde and Verano Place communities must submit an application to the GFH waiting list. Click here to learn more on the Announcements page.
	New Housing Policy: Effective April 19, 2010, there is a two-year moratorium during which new clients to Palo Verde and Verano Place Housing will NOT be allowed to bring cats into the community or acquire them during the moratorium.
