Student Housing Safety
Safety and security are a top priority in all of our communities, and housing staff are available around the clock to maintain a safe and secure environment. All residential facilities are locked 24 hours a day, and residents’ keys open the front doors as well as their own rooms. Emergency phones connecting to the UCI Police Department are located within each housing community and throughout the campus. UCI also provides a safety escort service for students who are traveling by foot at night. For more information on Campus Safety visit the UCI Police Department Web site at www.police.uci.edu.
