UCI Student Housing works in partnership with the campus’ Disability Services Center. Housing accommodation and placement where physical, medical, psychological, developmental, or learning needs are to be taken into consideration are based on written recommendation to Student Housing from that office. We encourage you to contact the Disability Services Center at 949-824-7494 or go to for information regarding registration and documentation requirements. In the event written recommendation is provided from the Disability Services Center, Student Housing will work with that office and with you regarding your accommodation needs.

  • Covid-19 Prevention and Preparedness

There are two important things you should do before coming to campus to ensure a smooth transition: (1) Limit your in-person exposure to people outside your home for 10-14 days prior to your arrival on-campus; and (2) Prepare a "Go Bag" with essentials that you will need in the event that you are directed to temporarily relocate to a quarantine space after a possible exposure to Coronavirus. Pack things that you would bring on a brief travel experience. Learn more about Covid-19 Prevention in Housing here.

  • Disaster Preparedness

In the event a disaster, do you have a communication plan with your family? See the Health and Safety page for information about safety, security, disaster preparedness, and health. Student Housing has a limited amount of disaster supplies, and we encourage residents to gather their own personal supplies and to make their own plans in case of an earthquake (e.g. Personal Disaster Prep Kit). Sign up to receive ZotAlerts on your phone.
