Undergraduate Housing Move-Out – June 14, 2025

Arroyo Vista, Las Lomas and the Residence Halls (Mesa Court & Middle Earth) close at 12:00 p.m./noon. Residents checking out after 12:00 p.m. will be charged a $32 Late Checkout Fee.

Spring Closing is always a busy time of year – with finals, preparing for the summer, and saying ‘see you later’ to friends and housemates.

  • If you haven’t already done so, gather boxes, plan for shipping or storing items, and talk with your family or friends about moving assistance.
  • Consider participating in our donation drives. Bins will be placed around the community that will accept donations including clothing, bedding, etc.
  • For a less stressful move-out, consider moving out directly following your last final exam. Checking out earlier in the week helps you to avoid weekend traffic and parking congestion.

MOVE OUT ‘TO DO’ LIST…

Pack

  • Remove all personal belongings from room, bathroom, kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, freezer, and mailbox. Don’t forget your bike. If you rent a MicroFridge, make sure it is clean and ready for pick-up.
  • Return all room furniture to the location it was in at check-in. This includes window screens, desks, beds, and furnishings.
  • Rooms must be cleaned thoroughly. This includes dusting and vacuuming. Any excessive cleaning will result in charges to your Zot Account.

Snap

  • Assess damages and submit Work Orders for any issues.
  • Review and edit Room Condition Report submitted upon Move-In. 
  • Once the room is returned to it’s original condition, take a picture of the clean space.

Drop

  • All keys must be returned by Saturday, June 15. Please utilize the Express Checkout boxes located within your community.
  • Submit the Mandatory Roompact Move Out Form 
  • Submit a Change of Address with the United State Postal Service. Any mail that arrives after June 13, 2025 will be returned to sender.

A few things to note:

  • Because final exams occur during check out, please be considerate and keep the noise level low. Remember 24-hour quiet hours are in effect throughout finals.
  • Your room will have a final inspection after you leave to determine whether there are damages or cleaning concerns for which you will be charged. The actual amount of any bill is not determined until all residents have vacated the room and professional Maintenance Staff have performed the final inspection.

Post-Move-Out Transitional Housing Information – June 2025

The Transitional Housing Request Form will be open from April 28 – May 23 (Closes 12 p.m./noon).

Those approved will be emailed a link to a DocuSign Transitional Housing agreement, and must complete the agreement and submit payment by the deadlines listed in the offer email.

Eligibility for Transitional Housing

The following groups may request Transitional Housing following Move Out on June 14th.

  1. ACC 2025-26 June – June leaseholders in Camino del Sol, Vista del Campo, or Vista del Campo Norte.
  2. Participants in graduation ceremonies occurring between June 13 – June 16, including those working Graduation.
  3. Extenuating circumstances that delay departure from campus may be considered, e.g., documented travel reservations.
