Theme Communities

What are you interested in?  Mesa Court themed communities provide opportunities to explore your interests and talents, build relationships, learn and grow outside the classroom. Live with peers who share your interest in art, music, technology, sustainability issues, outdoor adventure and more!

Community Center

Cyber Lounge

The Cyber Lounge is located on the first floor of the Community Center and is equipped with computers and a variety of comfortable seating. Software available includes Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Software programs for selected majors are also installed. In addition to computer stations there are private study cubicles and laptop stations with nearby outlets for easy charging.

We encourage residents to suggest new software and hardware recommendations to keep our lab responsive to students’ changing needs.

Study Space

The Community Center offers several different group or individual study options:

1st Floor: Near the front desk there is a private study room, with a whiteboard, great for small groups, and in the Cyber Lounge there are individual study cubicles. There are also 3 rooms that may be divided for group study.

2nd Floor: Multi-purpose room which is used for programming, hall banquets, and large-scale meetings. This space is used for free study during finals week.

The Court Study Pavilion

The Court offers 1 large study area, 1 large quiet study area, and 2 reservable private study rooms (maximum 6 people) along with one open study room with wifi and printing services available through WEPA printing.

Mail Services
Mail and packages are delivered and distributed daily (except holidays) in the mailroom, located in Caballo hall behind The Anteatery. Check with the mailroom attendant to see if you have mail. Students receiving packages will be notified by email. You can leave outgoing mail in outgoing mail slots. When residents leave Mesa Court, residents must complete an online mail forwarding form to get all first-class mail (forwarded for 30 days after move out). All other mail/packages will be returned to sender.

  • Temporary and replacement keys
Recreation/Fitness
The fitness area comes equipped with cardio and strength training machines, free weights and more. The Recreation Center is equipped with ping pong tables, a pool table, TV and gaming systems, and rentals for DVD movies. Your RA may reserve intramural sports equipment for your hall as well.
