Housing Guarantee
New freshman and transfer students who live on campus for the entire 2023-24 academic year are guaranteed a housing offer for 2024-25 if they complete all steps in the Continuing Student Housing Process.

SUBMIT A HOUSING APPLICATION
The Guaranteed Housing application process for eligible continuing students takes place in January 2024.
The waitlist application for American Campus Communities opens on January 24, 2024. A $200 security deposit is due with the American Campus Communities application. The UCI Housing waitlist application for Arroyo Vista, Residence Halls, and/or Las Lomas Apartments opens April 15 at 7 a.m. on the Housing Gateway. There is no cost for the Arroyo Vista, Residence Halls and/or Las Lomas Apartment application.
HOUSING OFFERS
Contract offers are sent via e-mail. ACC manages lease offers for their apartment communities separately. Contract documents for UCI housing communities are completed online via the Housing Gateway. When you receive your housing offer, please respond by the stated deadline so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to live on campus.
PI FORMS AND CONTRACTS
The first step in the housing contract process is the Personal Information Form, where you indicate room, community, and roommate preferences. Once the PI Form is complete, review, e-sign and submit your housing contract online. You will be required to pay a reservation fee of $390 with your contact. Contracts must be submitted by the deadline stated in your housing offer e-mail. Leases for American Campus Communities are handled by those communities.
RECEIVE YOUR HOUSING ASSIGNMENT
Housing assignments will be e-mailed by the second week of September. Move-in information will be available online early September. Check out the What to Bring page for packing tips.

Undergraduate Continuing Student Waitlist Application opens on April 15th
The Undergraduate Continuing Student Waitlist Application opens on April 15th at 7 a.m. on the Housing Gateway.
Housing Options: Arroyo Vista, Las Lomas Apartments, Residence Halls.
Las Lomas is a year-round option, from June 2024-June 2025.
Arroyo Vista and the Residence Halls are academic year options, from September 2024 – June 2025.
Offers for the Residence Halls will only be made once the Freshman housing waitlist has been exhausted, if space remains available.

Summer Housing
Continuing Students can secure summer housing by acquiring a 12-month lease in one of the American Campus Communities (ACC) or by arranging to sublet a space in one of the ACC communities. Arroyo Vista will offer a limited number of Summer Housing contracts for Summer Sessions 1 and 2.
Arroyo Vista Summer Housing
A limited number of spaces are available for continuing undergraduate students enrolled in UCI Summer Session classes. The Summer Session Housing Application link will be posted on the Housing Gateway on May 1st.

Summer Sublet Housing
Summer sublet options will be available in the ACC apartment communities (Vista del Campo, VDC Norte, Camino del Sol, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza Verde). Offers for ACC apartment sublets may be found on the Anteater Housing Network.
Disability Accommodations
UC Irvine Student Housing works in close partnership with the UCI Disability Services Center. If you have a disability that may impact your on-campus housing needs, complete the DSC Intake Form, and a DSC Counselor will contact you to discuss your needs. Any housing accommodations that are required will be shared by the DSC office with Student Housing.
